Some Good Workouts

Workouts can only be consider good/helpful in relation to what you are trying to achieve. I myself mainly do cardio workouts with little lifting because I aim to maintain a desired weight of 140 pounds. So these are a few good workouts if you are just trying to keep the weight neutral, or lose weight rather than put a lot of muscle/weight on. As you begin to workout for a lot, you begin to understand your body. How your body reacts to certain workouts, how you body will lose or gain weight. Make sure you are aware of this. Some people recommend keeping track of everything (Calories, workout routine) , I don't. Do whatever works for you best, I will only continue to post tips on having betther physical, mental health.

Running/Walking (Minimum a mile but I suggest 2 miles at least 4 days a week)
Dips
Squats
Pull-ups
Pushups
Leg Lifts
Situps
Sprints

I do my workouts in sets of four. Four sets of twelve or less.

Lose Weight, Live Healthy: See Results

What I noticed to be the biggest problem for people who can't lose weight, improve physical/mental healt, or just trying to get a little more active is the starting point.....it can be anything.

BIGGEST PROBLEM: The Starting Point
If you want to get in better shape, lose weight, improve your physical health, whatever it is, you need to implement action. Start walking everyday or jogging or playing that guitar if you want to learn how to play.

SOLUTION: Action, Don't talk about it, be about it
I found that I can think of over a million reasons not to do something. Every excuse in the book can be used: "I'm Tired", " I don't feel like it", "I'll do it tommorow". Believe it or not if you just go and do it, all those excuses, all those bad vibes will fade away.

AND YOU WILL SEE RESULTS
If you walk only around the block, such a short distance that is more than you were doing and you know what? YOU WILL SEE RESULTS

Basicly get into action, do it...start small, start somewhere and then you make it a routine.
YOU WILL SEE RESULTS FAST

Stay posted I will continue with new posts.

Can't Stop Won't Stop

So I haven't posted in a while, and the current book I'm reading lead me to this post. The Art of Non-Conformity by Chris Guillebeau, is a must read. I suggest this to anyone, why? Because first its an easy read, the book won't take much of your time. Second it will open your eyes a little, hopefully take you away from your long grueling work schedule or at least in thought. The book states that you don't have to work that long day to earn big bucks or live as society portrays a normal life: five or six day work week, not traveling much, going to college, creating huge debt, which basicly leads into a life of continuous work. You don't have to agree with everything the guy says, no I didn't say that I do, but it is always good to be open to new ideas. I'm still boxing for any of you who have tuned in to any of my old blogs. Hellooooo is anyone out there?!?!! Golden Gloves 2013 Champ is the goal. November is crunch time and I want this. I fought in the 2012 Golden Gloves losing my fight by decision which is posted on youtube, Fabio D'Ambrosio 2012 Golden Gloves. And I believe I just haven't reached my potential and haven't performed my best yet, so this is something I need to prove to myself. But anyone out there, wish me luck or just say a prayer for me. Keep your faith, stay strong, and God Bless You. I'm leaving this blog on presidential status. Ohh ya! Barack Obama lets go baby! This country needs you.

Keep your dream alive

We all feel like giving up sometimes, or tired. But to achieve anything the key is persistence.  If you don't give up then you will reach that goal of yours. If it is to lose weight, that means no breaks in between your routine, no shortcuts. Simple as that, if you continue then you will see results. Not saying it is easy, it is what it is. Keep your dream alive, even when you feel like giving up. You get through those few hard times when you feel like giving up, you will become stronger, making you better able to cope with future struggles. Never let your dream die.

Foods to Lose Weight

For my upcoming fight I decided to drop down to 132 weight class, when I'm naturally about 141 pounds. Myself being very lean with little body fat, discovered that this wasn't so simple but at the same time acheivable.

So here are some foods to substitute into your diet if you want to lose weight.
1) Fish (Tuna Fish, Salmon)
2) Chicken Breast (No Skin)
3) Raisons (But be careful for they contain a lot of sugar)
4) Salad (Without dressings which are extremely fatining, use oil and vinegar if anything)
5) Cereal (Special K, I find to be the best with 3-5 different ones that are tasty)
6) Fruits (grapes, oranges, apples, bannanas...I would say just about any kind of fruit)
7) Vegetables (Carrots)
8) Wheat Bread
9) Skim Milk or No Fat Milk (which I've heard is healthier than whole milk, but not sure about that)
10) Water (Probably one of the most beneficial things you could do is substitute water for soda or any other beverage)

This is just a simple start, with a few simple substitutes into your diet, that will make a huge difference. Again i personally don't believe in only dieting to lose weights, I believe excercise is key and most beneficial to your health, but at the same time you can't excercise well without eating good food. By the way you do feel soooo much better when you eat healthier food (mentally and physically).

STAY POSTED BECAUSE I WILL KEEP ADDING FOODS TO THE LIST

INFORM ME BLOGGERS, ENLIGHTEN ME, I NEED THE LIGHT, I NEED YOUR KNOWLEGE, I NEED YOUR WISDOM FELLOW BLOGGERS , WE MUST UNITE AT ONCE

So ya I'm new to blogger.com, new to the whole blogging scene. Is  it strange if someone random follows you? I was clicking next blog at the top of my screen to check out some other random blogs, and I decided to follow someother dude, who had some cool bible verses. So ya just wondering, you guys follow random people who interest you? I know that I don't necessarily write for someone to listen but more just to write, but of course it's nice to know someones listening or what they think.

Breathe In..... Breathe Out

It's kind of like "Three Little Birds", Bob Marley. "Don't worry about a thing because everything little thing gonna be alrite". It's not easy to keep this mentality and it does not mean not to care. The way I take it is, to maintain you cool when everything seems like it's falling apart. This man I met, he was my ex-girlfriends mother's boyfriend, I did not understand him at all. He was always in a good mood, never getting upset. Being brought up by an Italian family where we react with such emotion, such hate at moments and seconds later such love, this was not normal to me. We went to New York and the vallet scratched his BMW car, still no anger, he just took pictures of the scratch for his insurance or something. I must add, he was a very intellegent man, a lawyer, a very wealthy lawyer. At that moment it didn't completely set in, but as time progressed, I noticed I didn't want to be always getting upset and angry. It's like all Italians do sometimes is complain, for real. Who really wants to here someone continuously bitching? So I almost idolize this man, even though I have not seen him since. It is not really him exactly but his peronality, his attitude that I admire. So till this day, I've been working on it. When I'm on a job and running late, or as my dad always would get upset, when I can't find something I maitain composure. By being aware of my own actions, and continually reminding my self stay calm it's alrite, it will work out, or keep compsure; I have transformed myself.
